Policy

TERMS OF SERVICE

For Billing

Payment is billed according to payment policy below.
If payment becomes more than 30 days late Speedy Scoop will turn your account over to collections.

For Service

The client understands our ability to provide the service can be dependent on weather conditions, high grass, unraked leaves or grass netting on the ground which is your own responsibility and other unknown influences.

 

GENERAL POLICIES

PAYMENT

Our pet waste removal service is offered on a month to month basis with no contract required. You can choose to cancel your service at any time, with no penalties or fees.

To make things easier for our clients we offer our Client Portal to manage your account. All of our clients save a card or bank account on file within our Client Portal after signing up. 

Payment for recurring services are due on the first day of each month prior to receiving services. If payments are late, you may be subject to a $10 late fee.

If payment is not received before the first cleaning of the month, your service will be paused until payment is made. A representative will contact you to discuss payment.

The monthly fee is based on a 52 week calendar and averaged out over 12 months. For months with 5 weeks instead of 4, you will not be charged for the extra visit as it is built into the monthly pricing.

DISPOSAL

Waste is hauled away. If we miss anything in your yard, contact us right away and we will come back within the next business day!

OBSTRUCTIONS

If we can’t see it, we can’t scoop it! If your lawn is overgrown (tall grass) or covered in leaves/sticks we cannot ensure a full clean-up. If not maintained, there will be an additional $10 charge per scoop.

Grass netting cannot be scooped. It will need to be removed before service can begin.​

COMMUNICATION

You will receive notifications via text or email on the day of service when our technicians are on the way and after we have completed the scoop. If you have a gate, a picture of it closed/latched will be included in the Completed Text.

TRAMPOLINES

If there is waste underneath we will NOT crawl under. Please move the trampoline prior to our arrival to ensure that area can be cleaned.

GATES

If you have a gate we will ALWAYS make sure its locked after we leave. A picture of it closed/latched will be included in the Completed Text. Please keep entry accessible to us without obstructions especially in winter time. We will not hop the fence.

If yard is inaccessible due to locked gate, an invoice will still be sent for the visit because there will be double the waste to scoop the following week.

HOLIDAYS

We do not provide service on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

If your scoop day falls on one of these days, we will adjust your scoop day before or after the holiday.

UNATTENDED DOGS

We love dogs, but we will not enter a yard if the dog(s) are outside unattended by the owner. This is for our safety.

Scooping will be affected due to the following:

*Lightning
*Flooding
*Strong Winds
*Heavy and Active snow
*Heat and Cold Advisory

WINTER POLICY

WINTER MONTHS

If we can see it we can scoop it! During the winter months it is harder to see the smaller poop in the snow. Sometimes some waste cannot be removed due to frozen ground or soupy conditions. As soon as more snow melts and it becomes more visible it will be scooped!

In the case of severe weather, service will be skipped for that week. An invoice will still be sent for the missed day as we still have to pick up all of the waste that would have been scooped the prior week.

 
 

SNOW DAY

If temperatures get below 10 degrees or is actively snowing, a snow day may be called and you will be serviced on your next scheduled day.
